Overview:
Orc Software is a leading global provider of technology for advanced derivatives trading and connectivity. Transparency, speed and reliability are critical to success in today's automated trading environment. When traders compete for a deal, the one that gets there first-even by just a few milliseconds-generally wins the deal. Trading decisions are often based on analysing incoming data, so whoever processes the data fastest makes the decision first. Orc Software's solution deployed Verizon Private IP, a Layer 3, MPLS (multi-protocol label switching) based Virtual Private Network (VPN). Private IP offered different Classes of Service (CoS)-which means users can prioritize traffic to maintain low latency levels for critical traffic.
