Overview:

Honam Petrochemical Corporation (HPC) produces plastics, synthetics, and basic chemicals and, following mergers with two other companies, was in the process of integrating its various IT infrastructures. With several mail servers in different locations and an increasing volume of e-mail, HPC wanted to simplify management by consolidating its servers and implementing an efficient disaster recovery solution, which was less costly than its existing remote solution. HPC deployed Windows Server 2008 with the Cluster Continuous Replication function in Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, to enable real time data recovery without investing in a costly remote recovery solution.
