Overview:

Founded in 1964, the University of Waikato is home to 12,000 students and 1,500 staff on campuses in Hamilton and Tauranga, on New Zealand's North Island. The rapidly increasing number of e-learning systems and applications resulted in a complex and fragmented environment. The challenge was to unify and leverage all systems and platforms. The university also wanted to make it easier for staff and students to access information. To address these challenges, the University of Waikato implemented Oracle WebCenter Suite for its student and staff portal, iWaikato.
