Overview:
VMware vShield Zones, a new capability in VMware vSphere 4, enables network partitioning of virtual datacenters across logical organizational and trust boundaries, with virtualization-aware visibility and VMware VMotion compatibility. VMware vShield Zones provides convenient, secure virtualization of Internet-facing DMZs, compliance with firewalling and network segmentation requirements of PCI and regulatory standards, and network isolation for multi-tenant datacenters in the enterprise and the cloud.
