Overview:

American Identity is the leading distributor of corporate branded merchandise in the United States with more than 1,000 associates nationwide. As a service to their customers, American Identity hosts over 160 unique private Web sites for their premium associates. Web site response time and availability of users' session information is a critical requirement for this application. With the rapid expansion of their private Web sites, American Identity was experiencing heavy loading of their database servers. By using ScaleOut StateServer to store session state data in memory directly on the Web farms, they off-loaded their database servers, without sacrificing reliability. ScaleOut Software's StoreSafe technology intelligently replicates data across the Web servers in their farms ensuring it is always available to the application, even if there are server or communications failures.
