Overview:
Saudi Post wanted to integrate data stores from geographically-dispersed branches and ensure on time budget preparation. The challenge was to establish greater budgetary control to meet requirements as a public sector organization, gaining the ability to track and report every transaction and accelerate completion of purchase orders to increase efficiency of payment system. Saudi Post worked with Oracle Partner Raya to implement Oracle E-Business Suite applications to integrate financial, HR, and logistics data from all 13 Saudi Post regions and the Saudi Post headquarters into one widely accessible system as well as eliminated manual data transfer, which routinely took up to 10 days, enabling data transfers in minutes due to improved integration between applications.
