Overview:

BarcoView relies on VersaLogic's VSBC-8 EBX board as the onboard embedded computer in its high-performance graphics display systems. The BarcoView DS 251 Display Station is designed for use in naval, airborne, and ground-based command and control facilities. It incorporates a rugged LCD with a Pentium III VSBC-8 and custom BarcoView daughtercard into one space-conserving standalone unit. Important standard features of the DS-251 include network radar broadcasting, LCD display capabilities, an Application-Specific Expansion Slot (ASES), and "Thin client" and "Thick client" functionality. The unique radar broadcasting feature allows a signal to be sent over a network, either to other units or other computers which may viewed by technicians at any networked location.
