Overview:
In Windows Server 2008, the combination of a Server Core installation and the Read Only Domain Controller role is ideal for Branch office deployments, but what happens if one has bandwidth constraints and don't want to replicate all the AD data across the wire? In this webcast, the presenter of this webcast will show how to use NTDSutil to create an install from media set, an answer file to use with DCPROMO on the server core installation and then run dcpromo to promote the server core box.
