In a few short years, the internet has had a dramatic impact on the private and professional lives. And it continues to grow in importance in the daily lives: To fully enjoy the benefits of the internet, users need a broadband connection. And in coming years, millions of people will turn to wireless technology to deliver this experience. A host of technologies are competing to deliver commercial mobile broadband services. By far the most successful of these is HSPA, which has been commercially deployed by more than 100 operators in more than 50 countries, with an additional 50 operators (and counting) committed to rolling out commercial services.
