Overview:
While busy writing his new book, Software Engineering for Game Developers, John Flynt realized that he needed a fast and easy way to create UML diagrams and other game design drawings. Flynt's book, to be published by Premier Press in 2004, is focused on helping game developers complete their work more efficiently. In addition to helping him create drawings and graphics, Flynt wanted a software tool he could recommend to his readers. A colleague told Flynt about SmartDraw, and Flynt downloaded the free trial from the Web. SmartDraw offered simple "Drag and drop" drawing, and thousands of symbols, images and templates. This included hundreds of images for UML in the SmartDraw Software Design Collection.
