Overview:

The municipal court hears cases of violations of municipal ordinances. They required a case management system that could handle docketing, disposal of cases, issuing of warrants and summonses. Missouri also requires that municipal courts select only a state-approved vendor. Their DOS system did not track any statistics or produce documents, so the court was struggling to keep accurate statistical records in a spreadsheet and produce hundreds of court documents manually. New Dawn Technologies, upon realizing that JustWare would fulfill Columbia's needs, went through a proposal process to become a preapproved vendor by the Missouri Supreme Court Judicial Records committee. In addition to fulfilling Columbia's explicit requirements, JustWare also offered several additional benefits, including a case-specific electronic filing cabinet to link documents to their respective cases.
