Overview:

The Institute of Technology Tallaght (ITT Dublin) wanted to provide senior managers with online access to consolidated real-time admissions, registrations, and examination-result data from the student database and standalone spreadsheets and give the president, registrar, and department and school heads push-of-a-button analysis of key performance indicators and associated intelligence related to their areas of responsibility. The challenge was to gain timely and accurate statistics on student demographics and course popularity for use in press releases and prospecti, and to underpin marketing activities and future course planning. ITT Dublin implemented Oracle Business Intelligence Standard Edition One to gain best-practice, out-of-the-box analysis and reporting of student and course data with the scalability to expand to human resources, financial, and other databases if required.
