Overview:

Kansas State University (K-State) wanted to deliver superior services to help the university compete for the best students and faculty and support a qualified admissions system under which all students meeting certain academic criteria are automatically admitted. The challenge was to improve the university's ability to react to changes - from constituent needs, to regulations, to technology - with integrated applications and more modern, efficient systems. K-State unified four student information systems and streamlined a previously lengthy, labor-intensive admissions process with Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise Campus Solutions as well as automated the unique qualified admissions process - from when the student applies through the acceptance letter - with manual intervention only required for exceptions.
