Overview:

Telefonica del Sur S.A. wanted to implement a stable, high-availability platform to support the company's 100% growth rate and provide a reliable database with quick access to information and prompt information recovery in case of disaster. The challenge was to centralize technical support services to improve availability of client service for telecommunications customers and reduce complaints about system failures. Telefonica del Sur S.A. worked with Oracle Consulting to migrate to a stable, platform, providing 100% support for the growth in IT infrastructure needed for business and operational administration and implanted Oracle Database Enterprise Edition, facilitating quick access to information and continuity of telecommunications services.
