Overview:
With almost half of Indonesia's domestic telecoms market share, PT Telekomunikasi Selular ("Telkomsel") is Indonesia's largest provider of cellular telecommuniations services. Its business has grown exponentially in the last 10 years, and the operator is seeing a rapid growth in its core revenue-generating Value-Added Services (VAS) offerings such as, ring back tones and voice mails. The challenge is for Telkomsel to improve its cellular network performance, improve bandwidth and to simplify network management. Datacraft's network solution enhances the performance and reliability of Telkomsel's network to deliver greater value to its subscribers. The newly designed network uses a pair of Cisco Catalyst 6506 switches to ensure maximum uptime with redundancy and to minimize unplanned downtime through self-healing processes.
