Overview:
Polycom began certifying their SpectraLink Wireless Telephones three and a half years ago in a move to ensure they functioned well with industry-leading, enterprise-grade Wi-Fi access points. After a year of supporting the program in-house, Polycom faced resourcing issues due to the demand for the service from the burgeoning Wi-Fi market, and with increasing pressure to meet industry standards they needed a solution that would not only solve the immediate demand, but also provide added value for their partners. As a result of increasing business pressure, Polycom acknowledged that the delivery of the VIEW Certification Program needed to change. AppLabs were selected due to their breadth of testing experience, strong reputation in certification programs and their flexible attitude towards working in partnership with Polycom.
