Overview:

As timelines get shorter and people in the industry become specialized, collaborating and editing large media files in geographically dispersed locations is increasingly common in today's non-linear editing environments. Signiant's integration with Avid's Media Solutions allows for dispersed workgroups to move large media projects across the WAN, replacing FTP-based solutions or expensive point-to-point hardware-based file acceleration technologies. The Signiant solution supports Avid workgroups consisting of NLEs, Transfer Managers, Interplay, Unity or ISIS product lines. Users can move individual clips or entire Avid bins between multiple locations without impacting the native Avid workflow.
