Overview:
Rikshospitalet HF wanted to consolidate patient and administrative data, fragmented across the hospital's 600 applications and IT systems and create a single user interface with a low user threshold, that is accessible to medical personnel with access to relevant applications and data catalogs for increased efficiency and productivity. The challenge was to create a secure channel of communication between health personnel, patients, and relatives. Rikshospitalet HF integrated Rikshospitalet HF applications with the help of a service-oriented architecture approach and Oracle Fusion Middleware and created a portal, accessible across the organization, to give employees access to relevant applications and data.
