Overview:
As a part of the company's commitment to providing great customer service, the client deployed an Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) database hosted on earlier versions of Microsoft SQL Server. It faced the following business challenges: inconsistent information about a customer, sales & marketing team not having the right information at the right time resulting in loss of opportunities and creation of consolidated reports was tedious and time consuming process as relevant data were residing in disparate systems. After documenting the business requirements, BSI designed & built a data warehouse which incorporated data from transactions, sales, accounting, budgeting and external data sources.
