Overview:
AspenTech develops and delivers advanced solutions to optimize the processes of its manufacturing customers. But it took time before customers could actually use and benefit from AspenTech's software. Complex testing was needed to ensure interoperability, and staff were unable to run multiple software versions on same desktop. The company wanted to help its customers simplify and speed deployments. AspenTech integrated its core products with Microsoft Application Virtualization 4.5, and helped its customers to virtualize. Now deployment time has been reduced by 50 percent and customer adoption has been quickened by eliminating application installation conflicts and lengthy regression testing. By transforming its software into a centrally-managed virtualized service, AspenTech's customers enjoy dynamic software delivery, improved applications management and more effective support.
