Overview:

The French National Health Insurance Fund for Salaried Workers (CNAMTS) manages health and disability insurance for more than 55 million French citizens. CNAMTS has a client computing environment composed of 79,500 computers, approximately 10 percent of which are mobile computers, running the Windows XP operating system and Microsoft Office 97. To help meet its goals, the organization wanted a security-enhanced solution that would help it to protect critical patient data while reducing IT support costs. CNAMTS decided to upgrade to the Windows Vista Enterprise operating system. It plans to upgrade 20,000 computers by June 2009.
