Overview:
Esprinet S.p.A. (MTAX, PRT) wanted to overhaul the IT architecture by migrating all hardware and software and guarantee secure data access at all times to support an internet-based business model. The challenge was to accelerate data loading, processing, and searches and implement a single data access system for Italy and Spain. Esprinet S.p.A. worked with Oracle Consulting to implement Oracle Database Enterprise Edition 11g with Real Application Clusters - based on Linux - to create a dependable, rapid data warehousing system as well as replaced the company's obsolete hardware structure in Italy and Spain.
