Overview:

The Salvation Army provides humanitarian aid around the world and has done so for more than 125 years. As part of that reorganization, they decided to address the way they provide support to their employees. In the past, their dispersed IT departments were using a number of remote support tools, including pcAnywhere, multiple versions of open-source VNC, and Laplink. This requirement led the USA Western Territory, which had 13 different IT organizations, to the Bomgar Box. Bomgar is a zero footprint solution that does not require any pre-installed client. Because of this, they were able to deploy the solution very quickly.
