Overview:

The SEEC services used are components that can make the use of legacy applications easier. A SEEC search can cross policy systems and mitigate the need for a user to search within multiple legacy systems. The services are Java components that work in WebSphere Application Server and UI pages that work in WebSphere Portal Server. This paper describes how one can use WebSphere Business Services Fabric in conjunction with SOA Web services provided by SEEC, Inc. using a business scenario that illustrates a customer insurance policy search followed by a policy inquiry. The paper is written for architects and developers interested in understanding what SEEC and similar well-written, packaged services and Business Services Fabric can do.
