Brenntag Latin America operates 45 distribution sites in 18 countries throughout Latin America. Brenntag wanted to migrate from a character-based to a graphical user interface, keep up with rapid changes due to growth and evolving regulations across the region, and reduce software development and maintenance costs by leveraging an SOA-based architecture. Brenntag leveraged Progress OpenEdge and Progress Professional Services to protect investments in legacy code and modernize business-critical legacy applications.
