Overview:
The AICPA sought to consolidate 250 Web and application servers onto a scalable server and storage infrastructure to accompany a data center move. The association also wanted to improve availability of online member services. By using a combination of Dell servers, Dell/EMC storage and virtualization software from VMware, the AICPA was able to greatly reduce the size of its hardware footprint and curb its energy needs, while increasing application availability.
