Overview:

United Properties is a diversified commercial real estate company with over 500 employees and 26.5 million square feet of managed properties. Using a collection of disparate systems for key strategic and tenant information, and managing thousands of newly created documents each year created a situation where United Properties employees could not access key decision-making data or provide timely reports to management. The company deployed a corporate portal using components of 2007 Microsoft Office system, as well as Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services technology that delivers property-specific strategic accounting information, documentation and other property-related data. The portal also allows centralized access to documents and other corporate information enterprise-wide.
