Shin Kong Life Insurance wanted to replace manual budgeting processes with a system that automates workflows to improve efficiency and remove antiquated DOS system and manual operations to minimize accounting errors and improve cost management. The challenge was to implement an application server that ensures high availability for the new budget and cost management systems. Shin Kong Life Insurance engaged Oracle Certified Partner M-Power Information to implement Oracle WebLogic Server to underpin the new budget and cost management systems as well as completed the deployment in two phases, with the budget management system going live in September 2007.
