Overview:

Town of Newmarket wanted to automate enterprise software to increase efficiency and better serve the town's more than 78,000 residents and meet community goals for a more transparent government. The challenge was to support move toward self-service and e-government for the growing region. Town of Newmarket implemented Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne to replace its legacy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications, automate processes, and increase efficiency to meet town goals as well as worked with Oracle Partner Deloitte to upgrade to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Release 8.12 to gain Web-based solutions and the foundation for self-service tools.
