Overview:

Aerolab wanted to streamline the company's design information flow across engineering, design, production, and the shop floor and eliminate dependence on the technical office - allowing all teams to interact directly on each project. The challenge was to create a single enterprise-wide platform to enable seamless information exchange between customers and the Design Office, regardless of the Computer-Aided Design (CAD) systems. Aerolab implemented Oracle's AutoVue applications to enable all teams to quickly view 2D and 3D customer design files as well as enabled engineering staff to view 90% of CAD documents in their native format and eliminated the need for additional conversion software.
