Overview:

BT Group wanted to streamline consolidation of 5,000 separate financial data sources from 580 entities covering all of BT's business units across the world and reduce data preparation costs, gain actionable intelligence to enhance decision-making, simplify auditing, and ensure compliance with international financial reporting standards. The challenge was to build functionality-rich, scalable financial reporting infrastructure with the flexibility to support future business and regulatory changes and continually drive process efficiencies. BT Group replaced legacy consolidation and reporting solution with Oracle's Hyperion Financial Management and rolled it out to 130 central finance and regional business users as well as leveraged Oracle Consulting's Hyperion expertise and communications sector knowledge to optimize solution configuration for rapid user adoption and time to benefit.
