Overview:

BMW Egypt wanted to improve network protection and reduce the time it spent managing security. Many employees traveled with computers and risked introducing viruses and other threats when they reconnected to the corporate network. To improve security, BMW Egypt deployed Windows Server 2008 with Network Access Protection. The solution has reduced help-desk calls by 80 percent, and IT administrators spend less time locating and restoring infecting computers. With a healthier, more stable network, employees have improved access to line-of-business applications. They can deliver better customer service, and IT administrators also have more time for projects that enhance the technology infrastructure. In addition, Windows Server 2008 integration with Microsoft Forefront Client Security and Microsoft System Center products further improves security and streamlines management.
