Overview:
Roxio is known in the consumer computer market for its easy-to-use software for managing digital media. Beginning first as an application for burning CDs, the company's Creator product line evolved to include other digital media processes such as managing photos and creating videos. But as the product grew, Roxio realized that consumers were not always aware of the full capabilities of the application. The company also felt that the program's "Look and feel" had become outdated. By using the Windows Presentation Foundation - part of the Microsoft .NET Framework - Roxio renovated its flagship product and introduced Creator 2009.
