Overview:

ISC, a software products and consulting firm that specializes in mapping solutions, has seen increasing demand for the ability to run its software on the desktop. However, until recently, the company had no good way to meet that demand. MapDotNet UX, the new version of ISC's flagship product, takes advantage of Windows Presentation Foundation within Windows Vista to provide a richer user experience and more deployment options, including support for both Web-based and desktop applications. These new capabilities are leading to increased interest in the company's products, which the company expects to result in a tenfold increase in product-licensing revenues over the next two years.
