Overview:
With 250 employees stationed throughout the world, Buccellati required a fast, dependable email system for internal and external correspondence. To that end, the company maintains a global address book in Milan. All of its incoming emails are routed through Milan; its outgoing emails are sent through five different locations. The company deployed MessageLabs solution which now processes all Buccellati emails coming through Milan, and filters all of the company's inbound and outbound electronic correspondence with anti-virus and anti-spam solutions. Internal emails are not filtered, but are sent through a mesh network, allowing for greater efficiency and reliability, particularly given the widespread distribution of offices and individual users.
