Overview:

The Management Representative primarily provides feedback to top management on the effectiveness of the quality management system. The standard requires that the MR must be a member of management serving primarily as the eyes and ears of top management. The effective MR will accept the responsibility and exercise the authority of enabling the proper function of QMS to meet objective. ISO 9001: 2000 support services that can assist in implementing or upgrading the management system. The MR plays a critical role in the company’s QMS. This paper conveys the responsibilities of a MR.
