Overview:

This webcast provides a brief overview of the search features in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and shows how to enable basic search across the breadth of disparate data repositories within the enterprise. The attendee will learn how to search for data, including people and Line-Of-Business (LOB) applications, without the need for complex coding. The presenter examines installation and configuration of iFilters, content stores, crawl rules, content properties, people search, and search scopes. The presenter also covers the configuration of the Search Center User Interface (UI) to provide a tailored user experience specific to the organization.
