Overview:

A Program, Evaluation, and Review Technique (PERT) analysis can be used to determine a realistic duration for the tasks, by taking into account optimistic, expected, and pessimistic duration estimates. This webcast provides optimistic, expected, and pessimistic durations for the tasks, and then calculates the duration using the PERT Analysis tools in Microsoft Office Project 2007. The default PERT weights are changed to values that more accurately represent the estimates, and then recalculate the durations.
