Overview:

When the City of Altamonte Springs decided to fund a major upgrade of their communications system, they particularly sought to achieve survivability for the remote sites, uninterrupted service during brownouts or total power loss, elimination of the long periods of downtime they'd experienced due to failed equipment on older technology and scalability for ease of expansion to future applications.
