Overview:

Until recently, Swedbank employees had to set up their own Web-based calendars and e-mail. This was a complex, time-consuming procedure, and many employees avoided setting up the system at all. Fredrik Enstrom, Workplace Manager on Group IT Governance at Swedbank, wanted his team to implement an e-mail service that was easier to manage and more user-friendly so employees could work with greater efficiency. In 2005, his team worked with Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Zipper, to deploy its mobile e-mail management solution called Zipper FastTrack Mobile. The solution, based on Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and Windows Mobile software, is easy to manage, secure, and provides excellent monitoring and tracking tools for the IT team.
