Overview:

Midas is one of the world's largest providers of automotive service, offering brake, exhaust, maintenance, tires, steering and suspension services at more than 2,600 franchised, licensed and company-owned Midas shops in 19 countries, including almost 1,800 shops in the United States and Canada. The Midas organization experienced a brief disruption via a computer virus that entered their network through a laptop of one of their field staff. Midas needed a solution that allowed them to gain control over their heterogeneous desktop environment without needing LAN or WAN connectivity. Midas utilized the Dell On-Demand Desktop Management Services for their solution.
