Overview:
Italian plastics manufacturer Valsir SPA was experiencing a rising rate of virus infections and application-stability issues on its 175 computers, causing strain on its small IT department. After an evaluation of new software options, Valsir decided to deploy the Windows Vista operating system and the 2007 Microsoft Office system across the company. End-users are taking advantage of new productivity features to work more efficiently, while streamlined desktop management, enhanced security features and a more stable environment are contributing to a significant reduction in IT support calls.
