Overview:

QuesGen provides a hosted online application for clinical researchers to share and manage medical research data. The QuesGen service is an innovative application for medical researchers to manage study data simply and securely over the Internet. When building the service, CEO was familiar with Linux servers and hosting environments and chose to launch the service using the inherent firewall capabilities of the servers themselves. As the service grew, they recognized the need to centralize the management of security policies to prevent runaway administrative costs. Vyatta's unique open architecture allowed QuesGen to easily deploy a commercially supported firewall that gave it the security and support it required, plus the additional benefits of system scalability and extensibility of services.
