Overview:
Video streaming is an Internet-based, video-on-demand process in which a streamed file is simultaneously downloaded and viewed without creating a physical file (Reed, 2001). Streamed video has numerous classroom advantages. For example, files need not be stored on a hard drive, schools receive a substantial and constantly updated video library at an affordable cost, and teachers and students can access video clips whenever and wherever they wish.
