Overview:
As one of the world's largest international banks, ABN AMRO must maintain internal efficiencies - and IT strategy is a key part of this. The bank also has a strong green agenda and is working towards reducing the environmental impact of its IT systems with a view to becoming carbon neutral. To streamline its desktop strategy and reduce power consumption, ABN AMRO signed a two-year contract with Dell to provide a standardised office environment. Dell was also able to help the bank improve its licensing strategy and implement an innovation centre.
