Overview:

BBVA Bancomer wanted to create a flexible and scalable IT infrastructure to provide operational efficiency throughout the organization and automate manual verification and quality approval processes in banking services and in application development. The challenge was to improve visibility into operations and accelerate application design and development and standardize quality controls among branches to guarantee availability of services throughout the region. BBVA Bancomer worked with Oracle University to implement Oracle SOA Suite, creating an integrated architecture for developing applications on a flexible platform as well as automated more than 300 manual quality controls with BPEL Process Manager, reducing the time for approving new services and for application development.
