With just five employees, Mainstay Technologies ("Mainstay") is a small but successful company that strives to provide the highest levels of IT support to small- and medium-size companies, and to keep its customers on the cutting edge of technology. The company knew it needed a fast and secure operating system that could provide a terminal server solution for its testing and remote access needs. Mainstay was already schooled in the savings associated with using Windows Server 2008 as its solution. The company was so impressed by the installation of Windows Server 2008 as a terminal server at a client's site that it decided to deploy and implement it into its own network infrastructure.
