Overview:
Tianjin Electric Power Corporation (TEPCO) wanted to eliminate multiple information silos that prevented a clear view of the enterprise and centralize system management and reduce the number of applications in use. The challenge was to consolidate company information in a single database for easy searching and management and enable employees to access real-time enterprise data at any time from any location, improving business agility. TEPCO selected Oracle Application Server and Oracle Portal over products from IBM and Microsoft to create a unified enterprise information portal and engaged Oracle Certified Partner Beijing Datang Xingzhu Software to design and implement the solution, based on the company's experience in portal development.
