Die Schweizerische Post (Swiss Post) is the second largest employer in Switzerland. It provides the public and business community with postal, payment, and passenger transport services. Die Schweizerische Post (Swiss Post) wanted to implement strategic reorientation in the wake of the liberalization of the postal market in Switzerland. The challenge was to analyze the market and identify new business opportunities and enhance focus on customer care and service to drive profitability in the new environment. Swiss Post analyzed market and business opportunities using the target account selling method supported by Oracle's Siebel applications and introduced Siebel Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications to create an environment that enables the organization to optimize opportunities, value, and customer service.
