Overview:

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has a number of critical public facing applications (e-services). It needed a solution that would proactively monitor the network/application performance and enable its RTA's network architects and management to shape the network traffic accordingly. Packeteer as a company filled all these requirements and the technical team at FVC suggested 2 units of PacketShaper 7500 series appliances to fulfill RTA's requirements. The PacketShaper 7500 provides vital IP bandwidth provisioning and application management functionality with additional processing and memory "Headroom".
